If interested in applying for a visa/permit, an intensive+ course might be the most suitable choice. Unless informed otherwise by Spanish authorities (who should corroborate this and any other specific requirement about related matters), students must sign up for a full time course, that is, of at least 20 hours/week.

Citizens of the European Union do not usually require a visa to enter Spain nor a permit to stay here, but nationals of other countries often do and should contact their local Spanish embassy/consulate or foreigners office for further information. We are at your disposal to provide you with all necessary documents and to help you with all the procedures if you need a valid authorisation for your trip to Spain. Here is what you must do after you have made sure all requirements (including the type of course selected, duration, centre and any personal circumstance) are understood and met:

1. Choose your course, when it will start and finish date.
2. Send us a copy of your passport (just a clear photo of the main page).
3. After that, we need to receive at least a 1-week deposit (see below).
4. We will then send the original documents to you.

Regarding payment and what would happen in case your application were refused, you have two options:

1. Pay just a 1-week deposit and the rest upon arrival on your first day of class. No refund applicable, the deposit would not be reimbursed.
2. Pay in full. Fees would be refunded except for €150 min. as long as the school is notified in writing (the official notification issued by the Spanish authorities must be attached) at least 10 days prior to the course starting week.

The letter is not issued until payment (either in full or the deposit) has been received.

It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they comply with everything before starting (and entering the country), though, for which they should contact Spanish authorities, who should corroborate all information students may already have as well as detail any other specific requirement. It should not be complicated, but definitely very time-consuming. The school cannot guarantee how long the whole process might take nor what the result will be: allowing enough time for the completion of their application is highly advisable.
