Regular rate vs basic rate in detail

Let's take a look at the difference between our regular and basic rates:

Can students take breaks from their course?

Yes, it is possible with both rates to take whole-week (Monday to Friday) breaks.

Students must inform us at the time of booking for weeks to be deducted (along with those when the school is closed, like Christmas) or at least 10 days ahead (if the course had already started) for them to be postponed.

Are absences compensated?

Not with the basic rate. Any day when students do not attend class (justified or not) is never postponed, deducted nor refunded.

With the regular rate, they are saved as credit for future purchases, students just have to inform us at least one hour ahead (no need to explain why, no justification required, we will never ask).

Remember that breaks (whole weeks from Monday to Friday) are always postponed or deducted as explained above. It is not the same taking one or more weeks off than missing one or more days during the week.

Are holidays deducted?

Not with the basic rate. Any holiday (1 May, for example) when the school is closed and there is no class is not deducted (except private sessions), postponed nor refunded.

With the regular rate, they are deducted at the time of booking, students do not pay for these days.

Once again, remember that breaks (section above) are always deducted or postponed.

Is there a cancellation fee?

All cancellations incur a processing fee of 20% on the total amount with our basic rate.

With the regular rate, a 2% is applied instead, but only if students had paid for their course by card. If they had done so in cash or via SEPA transfer, it would be free.

Anything else?

It is not possible to combine services with the basic rate. Doing an extensive course and some private sessions at the same time, for example, or booking accommodation through us is not allowed.

Oh, and bookings must be completed by 14:00 on Friday the week before.

Understanding our regular and basic rates

All our courses offer two different rates: regular and basic. Students (not the school) can choose the one they prefer, just need to keep in mind their differences and make whatever decision they find
