Compensation policy
Students may take whole-week breaks from Monday to Friday.
They must inform us at the time of booking for them to be deducted (not counted as course time, they will not be charged) or at least 10 days ahead (if classes had started and had already been paid) for them to be postponed.
Example
Elsa will be in Valencia for 4 weeks (from Monday 1 until Friday 26) and wants to do an intensive course while she is here, but will be away during the third week (Monday 15 - Friday 19), so she has to pay just for 3 weeks: week 1, week 2, week 3 and week 4.
Example
Jorge has booked 4 weeks of intensive course (from Monday 1 until Friday 26), but a plan with friends has come up and he has decided to take week 3 off: since it had already been paid and can no longer be deducted from the price, that week is postponed so that he can do it at another time (maybe extend his current booking and finish 1 week later than originally planned).
Breaks notified late and other days during the week when students do not attend class can be saved as credit for future purchases.
Students must inform us at least 1 hour ahead and must have purchased their current course with the regular rate (not applicable to the basic one).
Example
Beatriz had purchased 1 week of intensive course (from Monday 1 to Friday 5) for €100, but something has happened and she cannot make it today: since she had informed the school earlier this morning before the class started, she now has a credit of €20 (€100 paid for 5 days of class = €20 each) to spend on any type of course (and rate) she wants at another time (no deadline).
Example
Carlos had purchased 2 weeks of intensive course (from Monday 1 to Friday 12) for €180, but something has come up and he needs to be elsewhere next week: since he has not informed the school at least 10 days ahead, that week cannot be postponed, but he now has a credit of €90 (€180 paid for 2 weeks of class = €90 each) to spend on any type of course (and rate) she wants at another time (no deadline).
Days when we are closed and there is no class are not charged.
Holidays and school breaks such as Christmas or 1 May.
